Williams, Osborne, Lotz and Weir Capture Titles at LJGT TPC Louisiana Championship

AVONDALE, La.
The Louisiana Junior Golf Tour concluded another successful championship this week at TPC Louisiana, where competitors battled challenging conditions over two days of competition. Following Monday's practice round, players completed rounds on Tuesday, July 21, and Wednesday, July 22.
Course conditions remained excellent throughout the week with smooth, fast greens but the final round tested every player. Strong winds ahead of an approaching tropical storm made it more difficult, and rain was felt as the final groups completed their rounds Wednesday afternoon.
Boys 10-11 Division
Grey Weir of Stonewall claimed the Boys 10-11 division title after posting rounds of 81-76 to finish at 13-over par. Weir's steady final-round improvement helped separate him from the field, and he recorded five birdies over the two-day championship.
Harvey White of Ridgeland, Mississippi, finished runner-up at 25-over par after rounds of 81-88. White carded two birdies during the tournament.
J.J. Herbert of St. Martinville earned third place with rounds of 81-89 to finish 26-over par, also making two birdies across the championship.
Boys 12-13 Division
The Boys 12-13 division produced the most dramatic finish of the tournament as Landon Lotz of Slidell and Crew Galambos of Shreveport finished tied at 2-under par after 36 holes.
Lotz opened with a 75 before firing an impressive 5-under 67 in the final round, highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 12th hole. Galambos carded rounds of 69-73 and totaled eight birdies during the championship.
The pair advanced to a sudden-death playoff on the 10th hole, where Lotz secured the victory with a two-putt to earn the championship trophy.
William Doumite of Lake Charles finished third after rounds of 80-76 for a 12-over par total.
Overall Girls Division
Maci Williams of Brusly continued her outstanding junior season by capturing the Overall Girls Championship with rounds of 71-67Â to finish at 6-under par.
Williams recorded nine birdies over the two rounds and earned an exemption into the Bayou Cup, which will be contested December 5-6 at Big Easy Ranch in Texas.
Having already secured a Bayou Cup exemption by winning the Louisiana Junior Amateur Championship earlier this season, Williams' additional exemption will now revert to a captain's pick.
Evelynn Artieta of Denham Springs finished runner-up at 4-over par after rounds of 71-77, while Jade Neves of New Orleans claimed third place with rounds of 72-77 to finish 5-over par.
Overall Boys 14-18 Division
Nolan Osborne of Gonzales captured his first Louisiana Junior Golf Tour victory after posting rounds of 71-75 to finish at 2-over par.
Meyer Schopp of Broussard finished runner-up at 3-over par, while Parker Greene of Mandeville also finished at 3-over par to claim third place.
The Louisiana Junior Golf Tour returns to action Monday, July 27, at the U-Club in Baton Rouge for the next stop on the 2026 summer schedule.
