Welcome to the Louisiana Junior Golf Tour (LJGT) Parent Resource page. We are thankful for you and your child’s interest in the LJGT. We have created this page to try and enhance your LJGT experience and help answer any possible questions you may have.

Become a Tour Member

​To be able to compete in the LJGT, the first step is to become an LJGT Member of the current year. Please click the "Join the Tour" button for more LJGT membership information.

Register For Tournaments

The LJGT provides playing opportunities for players aged 11-18, with divisions for Boys (11-13, 14-18) and Girls (13-18).

 

Additionally, a 15 & Under division within the Boys 14-18 Division recognizes the top 14- and 15-year-old finisher with a medal.

Rules & Regulations

The LJGT has many policies and procedures that are set forth to ensure our events are conducted at the highest level possible to ensure the best experience. These items can be confusing and overwhelming, but our staff is always here to assist you with any questions you may have

Rules of the Competition

All LJGT Events are conducted under the USGA Rules of Golf. Learning the Rules of Golf is a benefit to the player and parent as they go through their junior golf journey. Please click below to learn more about the Rules of Golf and its many complexities!
