the 8th Annual Sam Burns Junior Four-Ball Championship presented by LOTS prepares to tee off at Squire Creek Country Club on February 28th, marking the first major event of the 2026 season of the Louisiana Junior Golf Tour. Hosted by PGA Tour professional, Sam Burns, this championship stands as a beacon of support for junior golfers, exemplifying Burns’ unwavering commitment to cultivating the next generation of golfing talent in our region.

Sam Burns, whose stellar and consistent play on the PGA Tour has captured the hearts of fans not only in Louisiana, but worldwide, remains a steadfast advocate for junior golf in his home state. With five PGA Tour wins and his recent participation in the 2023 and 2025 Ryder Cups and both the 2022 and 2024 Presidents’ Cups, Burns continues to inspire and mentor young golfers in the state of Louisiana and around the country.
