Round 1 of the Summer Kick-Off at Koasati Completed After Weather Uncertainty

A look into Round 1 of the Summer Kick-off at Koasati held at Koasati Pines Golf Club in Kinder, Louisiana on Saturday, May 23, 2026.  

Kinder, LA - Round 1 of the Summer Kick-off has finally wrapped up after heavy rainfall and lightening. Play began at 8 AM with a shotgun start, though the reoccurring weather resulted in play being suspended numerous times, players were thankfully able to play a full 18 holes for round 1.

During the round, Stewart, Lotz, McKnight, and Lebaron held up strong during the conditions and uncertainty of the round. Due to their resilience, the four all secured the top spot in their division after round one. Stewart led the round with a -5 67 today, Lebaron with a -2 70, McKnight leading with a +2 74, and lastly, Lotz with an astounding -6 66.
