The Louisiana Junior Golf Tour is proud to introduce its new “eLAvated” events as part of the 2026 tournament schedule, marking an exciting step forward in the development of elite junior golfers across the state.
Designed to provide a more competitive and challenging environment, eLAvated events will feature extended yardages, more demanding course setups, and larger/more competitive fields. These tournaments are aimed to further challenge and prepare Louisiana players for high-level regional and national competition.
In addition to the enhanced level of play, each eLAvated event will also count toward the points standings for the selection process of the inaugural Team Louisiana, giving players a valuable opportunity to garner points and earn their way onto this Louisiana Junior Team, part of the U.S. National Development Program.
“These events are a natural progression for Louisiana’s top juniors and for players trying to test their game,” said Jake Norris, LGA Director of Junior Golf. “We want our top juniors to prioritize their in-state programs and junior tour first, and we’re committed to creating opportunities that will challenge and develop Louisiana’s best junior golfers. The new eLAvated events, along with the future of Team Louisiana, is a big step in that direction.”
The Louisiana Junior Golf Tour encourages players seeking a higher level of competition to participate in these events as they continue to eLAvate their game and help grow junior golf throughout the state.
