Williams, Ramsey, and Greene Named 2025 LJGT Players of the Year

The Louisiana Junior Golf Tour has announced its 2025 Players of the Year, honoring three young golfers who set the standard for consistency, composure, and excellence this season: Maci Williams of Brusly, Parker Greene of Mandeville, and Grey Ramsey of Choudrant.

It was a season that saw record-breaking performances and fierce competition from start to finish, but when the final points were tallied, these three names stood at the top.

Williams dominated the girls’ circuit from the opening event to the final putt. Competing in nine tournaments across the state, she picked up six victories, including the 60th Louisiana Girls’ Junior Amateur, 24th Louisiana Women’s Four-Ball Championship, and the LJGT Tour Championship at Tamahka Trails, where she won by an astounding 31 strokes—the largest margin in tournament history. She also reached the quarterfinals of the Louisiana Women’s Amateur Championship and earned alternate status for the U.S. Girls’ Junior Amateur Championship, further cementing her status as one of the state’s most accomplished junior players. Her season was a masterclass in consistency and focus, marked by steady ball-striking and a calm presence under pressure that made her nearly untouchable on the leaderboard.

While Williams was rewriting records on the girls’ side, Parker Greene was doing much of the same in the boys’ division. Greene’s year was built on precision and poise, earning three victories in nine starts, including wins at TPC Louisiana, Squire Creek, and the LJGT Tour Championship. He also added a pair of top-three finishes at The Island Country Club and U-Club, rounding out a résumé defined by consistency. His steady play throughout the season culminated in a decisive victory at Tamahka Trails, securing both the Overall Boys’ title and Player of the Year honors. Greene’s composed approach and reliable scoring made him one of Louisiana’s breakout players in 2025—a name to remember as he continues to climb.

In the 11–13 division, Grey Ramsey turned in a season that was nothing short of dominant. Across ten tournaments, the Choudrant native claimed six victories, including titles at Squire Creek, U-Club, The Island, Koasati Pines, the Sam Burns Junior Four-Ball Championship, and the LJGT Tour Championship. He also finished runner-up at the 68th Louisiana Junior Amateur (Boys 12-13 Division) and inside the top five at The Wetlands. Ramsey’s consistency and ability to close under pressure separated him from an already competitive field and earned him the Boys’ 11–13 Player of the Year title.

Each of this year’s honorees represents the next generation of Louisiana golf—driven, grounded, and passionate about the game. The LJGT congratulates Maci Williams, Parker Greene, and Grey Ramsey on their outstanding seasons and looks forward to watching them continue to grow both on and off the course.
