Team Louisiana Wins 2026 Junior River Cup, Defeats Mississippi 33-7.

40 players competed in a singles round match for the 2026 Junior River Cup.  Tee times began at 7:30 AM off the 1st tee.

Greenville, MS – Team Louisiana captured the 2026 Junior River Cup title on Sunday at Greenville Golf and Country Club, defeating Team Mississippi by a final score of 33-7.

Louisiana carried a 13 point lead into Sunday’s Singles Matches and continued their strong play to secure the Cup. The final day saw Louisiana win 15 matches and tied three, while Mississippi claimed seven points throughout the tournament.

In the Girls Division, Louisiana earned key wins from Evelynn Artieta (1 up), Maci Williams (4 & 3), and Grace Goodwin (4 & 3), and Isabella Reeves (1 up). In the Boys 10–11 Division, Louisiana’s dominance continued as Grey Weir (3 &1) and JJ Hebert (4 & 2) succeded in their division. Mississippi found success with Samuel Kershaw and Charlie Magee. The Boys 12–13 Division followed suit with points from Samuel Perrodin (1 up), Landon Lotz (3 & 2), Brandon Fuselier (5 & 4), and Crew Galambos (3 & 1). In the Boys 14–15 Division, Reed Winkler (5 & 4), Nolan Osborne (7 & 6), Derby Everson (tied), and Grey Ramsey (1 up) finished out. In the Boys 16–18 Division, Louisiana found success with Alex Roebuck (tied), Justin Lotz (2 up), Parker Greene (tied), and Hudson Greene (3 &1).

With the win, Louisiana secured another Junior River Cup title, winning back to back. Finishing the weekend with consistent performances across all divisions and strong play in Sunday’s singles matches.
