Justin Lotz Wins his First Championship of the Season.

Calhoun, LA — The Louisiana Junior Golf Tour tournament at The Hills Golf Club completed its final round today, crowning three champions in their respective divisions. Players began with a 7:30 a.m. starting time off of the 1st tee.
Landon Lotz of Slidell took home the championship for the Boys 12-13 Division after putting together two solid rounds of golf. He opened with a 2-under 70 on Saturday and followed it with a 1-under 71 on Sunday to finish at 3-under for the tournament.
Landon was able to make the most of his scoring opportunities throughout the 36 holes, finishing the tournament with an impressive 11 birdies.
Crew Galambos of Shreveport finished just one stroke behind Lotz to take second place. Galambos also opened with a 2-under 70 before finishing with a 72 in the final round for a two-day total of 2-under. His opening round included one of the highlights of the tournament, as he made an eagle on the 14th hole.
Samuel Perrodin of Ville Platte finished in third place at 4-over. Perrodin shot a 75 in the first round and improved to a 73 on Sunday. He played a steady round of golf throughout the weekend, making his share of pars and keeping himself in the mix for a top-three finish.
Justin Lotz soars over the Boys Overall Division after firing a -4 for the weekend. Lotz made three birdies and an impressive eagle on hole 13, putting him 6 shoots under his competitors. This is Justin’s first win of the season and he punched his ticket for the River Cup. In second and 15 and under champion, Grey Ramsey carded +1 for the weekend, making two birdies and an eagle on 18 during the final round. Nolan Osborne climbed up the leaderboard today, carding +4 for the week and making two birdies.
In the Girls Division, Evelynn Artieta was steady at the top of the leaderboard with a 4 shot lead during the final round today. She carded +4 for the week, making 4 birdies during the tournament. In second, Grace Goodwin came in with a +8, making 4 birdies today and Ella Nugent finished in third for the weekend.
