Supporting the Next Generation: Four LJGT Members Receive 2025 eLAvate Your Game Scholarships

The Louisiana Junior Golf Tour (LJGT) and Scott Mouisset Foundation are proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 eLAvate Your Game Scholarships. Now in its second year, this meaningful initiative continues to support LJGT members as they pursue their academic and personal goals beyond high school.

This year, thanks to the generosity of the Scott Mouisset Foundation, the LJGT is awarding four scholarships totaling $5,000. Two male and two female junior golfers were selected to receive a $1,250 scholarship each based on their academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and passion for the game of golf.

Among this year’s recipients is Kailey Batte, a graduate of Lafayette Renaissance Charter Learning Academy, who plans to study Business Management at the University of Mobile while continuing her golf career at the collegiate level. Her commitment to both academics and athletics made her a standout applicant.

Vivian Volion, another scholarship recipient, completed her high school education through Liberty University Online Academy. Known for her strong academic record and dedication to the sport, Vivian will begin her college journey at Harding University, where she hopes to carry forward her passion for golf and support for junior players.

From South Lafourche High School, Jude LeBoeuf has earned recognition not only as a three-time golf team MVP but also as Drumline Captain in the school band. His leadership on and off the course has set him apart, and he will bring that same energy and focus to Loyola University New Orleans as he continues his education and athletic development.

Also receiving a scholarship is Lafayette High School graduate Drew Sliman. Widely respected for his talent on the golf course and his dedication to serving his community, Drew will attend the University of Louisiana-Lafayette and compete for the men’s golf team, which is led by his father, the program’s head coach.

The eLAvate Your Game Scholarship was established as part of the eLAvate the Game Campaign, with the mission of helping LJGT members grow through opportunities that support their educational and life goals. The LJGT is proud to partner with the Scott Mouisset Foundation, whose commitment to giving back has made this program possible for a second year.

The Scott Mouisset Foundation is dedicated to making a positive impact by supporting families experiencing grief, fostering a culture of giving and compassion, and creating sustainable and meaningful change in communities throughout Louisiana.
